The Senior Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible to manage the finance operations of the companies Investments Group (IP), its subsidiaries/SPVs (including the other sister companies within the wider group).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring standalone and consolidated financial statements of the group entities are prepared and issued on periodic basis as per international financial reporting standards (IFRS)/relevant generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and audited by the external auditors
  • Accounting for fair valuation/mark to market, and impairment assessment
  • Prepare special purpose combined financials of the wider group
  • Manage bookkeeping/accounting, chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable and receivables function, including intercompany/related party accounting and reconciliations
  • Review feasibility studies for investments
  • Manage org chart of the group entities
  • Review invoices, payments and to ensure each type of payment is processed accurately and in accordance with required approvals & procedures supported by complete document set
  • Ensure Monthly closing is completed within the stipulated time with accuracy
  • Supervise and monitor the financial reporting, MIS, cash flows/funding requirements of the group
  • Develop and manage SLAs to ensure transfer pricing and cost recharge as per tax laws.
  • Develop/recommend and implement appropriate accounting procedures and processes, including enhancement to D365
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors
  • Manage the VAT filing, tax filing and other compliance requirements (local as well as foreign entities)/coordinate with the tax team and external advisors
  • Provide technical and accounting support as needed


People Management Responsibilities:

  • Set clear expectations that inspire and motivate the team
  • Collaborate with the Director Finance/CFO and HR to identify skill gaps within the team and provide opportunities for learning and development to enhance their capabilities
  • Oversee the implementation of the performance management processes within the Finance Team, ensuring adherence to organisational policies and procedures for continuous performance improvement


Qualifications:

  • ACA, CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA
  • More than 10 years’ experience in a large, diversified Group (preferably investments sector) and Big 4 audit/consultancy experience
