We are looking for a Senior Engineer- Devops/ SRE to join our client who is an AI pioneer contributing to the evolution of energy sector.
Contract duration - 12months extendable
Work location - Onsite Abu Dhabi
Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop strategy and implement to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our clients platform
- Monitoring and observability of our clients platform
- Advocate for automation for different parts of platform
- Plan, implement and support CICD pipelines with self-managed open source tools
- Deploy and operate solutions at prototype and beta stage
- Match and communicate requirements and capabilities between development team and infrastructure partner
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements: - Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree in Computer Sciences or relevant field
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s +7-8 years’ experience or Master’s + 5 years experiences
- Proficient leadership and communication skills
- Ability to proactively prioritize workloads, working both independently and as leader of a team
- Linux/unix, docker, kubernetes
- Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines or Github Actions
- AWS, Azure, GCP or similar tool stack/public cloud
- Git based integration and delivery workflows
- Experience from product-based companies (preferred)
- Experience with live production systems (preferred)
- Networking on all layers
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Experience with one or more of the following: - OpenStack, terraform, Helm Chart (preferred)
- Data engineering
- Operation of collaboration tools like jira, etherpad, jitsi, nextcloud etc
- Experience in monitoring tools
- Experience in logging tool
