Senior AWS Solutions Architect

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Architect to lead our client's cloud architecture initiatives in the UAE. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our AWS-based architecture to support business goals and optimize performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of cloud solutions, setting the strategic direction for their infrastructure and cloud services.
Requirements:
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of complex AWS architectures, ensuring they align with best practices and meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute cloud strategies that support business objectives while leveraging the full capabilities of AWS services to improve industry competitiveness.
- Security Best Practices: Implement and advocate for security best practices throughout the architecture, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of cloud applications and services, leveraging AWS tools and analytics to enhance efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the architecture meets the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing among team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a similar senior technical role, with a strong portfolio of successful AWS projects.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, and more, with relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional).
- Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD methodologies, and tools for automation and orchestration (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and architecture best practices.
