Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Board Secretary to join our team. The Board Secretary will play a pivotal role in supporting the Board of Directors and executive leadership, ensuring effective governance, compliance, and the smooth running of board operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage board meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing meeting materials.
- Record accurate minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action points.
- Maintain statutory registers, including those of members, directors, and secretaries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance best practices.
- Act as a liaison between the board, executive management, and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings.
- Safeguard confidential information and maintain secure records.
Qualifications:
- Industry expertise required: Hospitality, Real Estate
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Board Secretary, preferably within the financial or investment sectors.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks in Saudi Arabia.
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
