Job Title: Project Manager - Private Equity Portfolio

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to join our team and oversee the strategic initiatives and operational performance of our portfolio companies.
Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of key projects within our portfolio companies. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, investment professionals, and operational teams to drive value creation, operational efficiency, and overall portfolio optimization.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic projects within portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Implement best practices across portfolio companies to drive operational excellence.
3. Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and portfolio management.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to align project goals with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including investment professionals and functional experts, to leverage resources and expertise.
5. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate project and operational risks.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard investments and optimize portfolio performance.
6. Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing insights into project progress, key performance indicators, and portfolio health.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between portfolio companies and the private equity firm.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the private equity or financial services industry.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in financial analysis and modelling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Solid understanding of various industries and business operations.
- Healthcare project management or similar project management certification is a plus.
