Our client is in the process of enhancing its procurement division and is actively seeking talented individuals to join as mid to senior-level resources. This exciting opportunity involves playing a pivotal role in steering and enhancing the procurement processes for a large enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership:
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the procurement division.
- Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall procurement effectiveness.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage ongoing supplier relationships.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Work closely with director-level executives, senior managers, and specialists to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and streamline procurement processes for maximum efficiency.
- Implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of the procurement function.
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or procurement certification is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement roles within large enterprises.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Experience in driving strategic procurement initiatives.
Skills:

- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Contract Details:
- Duration: Initially 5-6 months with the potential for extension or internal transition.
