Position: Litigation Paralegal 

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

12-Month Fixed-Term Contract


Role Function


Assisting with document reviews, relativity searches, first-pass chronologies, expert document support work, team bundles (hard and soft), witness interview packs, hearing logistics and support.


Assist with BD articles.


Performs paralegal duties under attorney supervision, gaining experience in common processes and best practices. Organizes, tracks, and facilitates easy access to materials. Demonstrates judgment and ingenuity in problem-solving.


Expands legal knowledge through training and on-the-job experience, excelling in research, analysis, and presenting results. Produces high-quality work meeting or exceeding firm standards with attention to detail.


Handles diverse client assignments, developing practice-related knowledge and fostering effective work relationships. Exhibits industry knowledge, adaptability, responsiveness, and actively pursues new skills and challenges.


Utilizes proficient computer skills, acquiring practice-specific technology knowledge for efficient task execution. Seeks continuous training to stay updated on technical advancements.


Upholds ethical standards and ensures confidentiality in all firm activities, records, and files.


Engages in departmental projects to enhance workflow, improve processes, and resolve issues. Supports administrative initiatives as assigned.


Takes on additional responsibilities and assists with various assignments as needed.


Organizes client materials and attorney work products using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.


Manages administrative client matters, preparing routine and special board resolutions, as well as amendments to formation certificates and entity operating agreements.


Drafts, edits, and assists in the preparation of legal documents under attorney supervision.


Maintains project files, circulates materials to the project team, and keeps chronological records of project activity.


Coordinates services from external contractors, including filing and registered service providers, and collaborates with foreign counsel.


Expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the firm’s clients, fee-earners, advisors, and staff, and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months of Litigation Paralegal experience at Magic Circle or lateral pier firm in the UAE, 
  • Experience assisting with Business Development Articles
