Chief Risk Officer (Investment Risk)
Leading Investment Management Company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Risk Officer to join a growing organization in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment risk and enterprise risk management, with at least 10+ years of experience in a senior position.
This position will also oversee Governance and Compliance duties, but the main focus will be focusing on the risk management function.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework and strategy to identify, assess, and manage investment and enterprise risks.
- Establish risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate investment portfolios, identifying and analyzing potential risks and their impact on investment performance.
- Conduct risk assessments and stress tests to assess the company's exposure to various market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and provide recommendations to senior management on risk reduction and hedging techniques.
- Collaborate with investment teams to integrate risk management practices into the investment decision-making process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant risk limits and guidelines, and implement risk monitoring tools and systems.
Requirements:
- English speaking, bilingual in Arabic would be a preference.
- Experience overseeing the Investment Risk function for 10+ years.
- Solid background of Blue Chip entities.
- Global experience of working in Europe, Asia and US will be a bonus.
