About Khairul Anwar

Experience in supporting teams across Banking and Financial Services, Governance, and Industrial verticals in executive search and recruitment for searches up to C level across Asia.

He possesses prior marketing and communications experience, stemming from his background in Communication Studies at NTU and an internship with the governing body of the Spanish professional football league, La Liga. He then kicked off his career in 2019 as a consultant at world-renowned sports agency Red Card Global, focusing on sports marketing and helping his clients break into the Asian markets. 

After learning the ropes, he took on the role of a full Consultant, specialising in the niche Risk and Compliance vertical, in which he had multiple successes over the past year. He has built strong relationships with clients and candidates from local and international banks as well as non-bank financial institutions, and the FMCG and Industrial sectors. 

When he is not sourcing for the best Risk and Compliance candidates, Khairul can be found at Singapore Cricket Club by the Padang, where he is vice-captain of its men's football team, at home in the kitchen trying out new pasta recipes, or playing with his four cats – sometimes all at once.
