This is an opportunity for an Arabic speaking lawyer to work in-house in Abu Dhabi.
We are seeking skilled and experienced Arbitration Lawyers in the UAE. The successful candidates will play a pivotal role in shaping success by utilizing their expertise in international arbitration, legal analysis, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Expectations Case Management: Efficiently manage a caseload of arbitration cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.Legal Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of international arbitration laws and practices, gained from 3-5 years of experience in private practice, government, arbitration institutes, or similar roles in common law or civil law jurisdictions.Analytical Skills: Exhibit strong legal analytical skills, incl. in drafting proposals for the decisions to be made by the Court of Arbitration.Project Management: Thrive in a dynamic environment by efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating attention to detail and ensuring successful outcomes.IT Proficiency: Leverage technical aptitude to utilize digital tools and platforms for effective case management and communication.Reports: Aptitude for preparing reports and articles
Requirements
3-6 years of experience in international arbitration within common law or civil law jurisdictions from private practice, government, other arbitration institutes or organization, or similar roles.Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited institution.Proficiency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.Knowledge of local laws and practices in the MENA region is preferred.Strong legal analytical skills and the ability to make well-informed decisions.Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Tech-savvy, with the ability to adapt to and utilize digital tools effectively.Open-minded, innovative, and result-oriented approach.Demonstrated public speaking skills with an outgoing personality and high sense of professionalism.
