As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking an experienced Executive Director – Risk Management to lead and enhance their risk management framework, ensuring resilience and sustainable growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, aligning risk strategies with the organization's overarching goals and objectives.Lead efforts to identify, assess, and prioritize risks across all business units, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance-related risks. Formulate and execute risk mitigation plans to address identified risks, ensuring minimal impact on organizational objectives.Establish and maintain risk management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee the development and implementation of crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure organizational resilience.Engage proactively with internal teams, external partners, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive decision-making and foster collaborative relationships throughout the project lifecycle.Implement and manage robust governance structures and compliance protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices at each stage of the project. Key RequirementsMinimum of 15-20 years of experience in risk management within a complex organizational environment.In-depth understanding of the organization's sector, regulatory landscape, and emerging risks.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive risk management initiatives across the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and develop effective strategies.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
