About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand Manager to lead the brand strategy for one of Abu Dhabi’s most prominent holding companies, currently in an exciting phase of regional and international growth. This is a high-impact role requiring a commercially minded, politically astute professional who can build and execute a brand engagement strategy that resonates with a broad range of stakeholders including government entities, global investors, corporate partners, subsidiaries, and the wider public.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the group’s growth ambitions and strategic objectives.Create tailored messaging and campaigns to engage key stakeholder groups: regional and international governments, investors, strategic partners, and the public.Define and monitor clear KPIs to measure brand engagement, visibility, and reputation across channels and markets.Cross-Group CoordinationSupport and advise subsidiary businesses across the group on brand and marketing plans, ensuring consistency of brand tone, quality and alignment with group-level goals.Build a collaborative marketing ecosystem across the group to leverage shared platforms, partnerships, and brand assets.Commercial Acumen & Campaign ManagementOversee marketing budgets to ensure spend is optimised for maximum impact and ROI.Plan and coordinate high-visibility events, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships to elevate brand presence on regional and global stages.Ensure brand positioning is continuously refined to support business development, stakeholder trust, and investment attraction.Stakeholder Engagement & Communications AlignmentWork closely with internal teams, communications leads, and senior executives to align messaging and strategic priorities.Act as a trusted advisor on brand-related matters, guiding executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.Prepare high-quality presentations and briefs for internal and external audiences, including C-level stakeholders and government partners.
Candidate ProfileExperience & SkillsProven track record in strategic brand management, ideally within complex, multi-stakeholder environments (e.g. government-related entities, investment groups, or large holding companies).Strong commercial mindset with experience managing sizeable marketing budgets and demonstrating tangible brand impact.Confident in high-level stakeholder engagement across public and private sectors, with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.Adept at managing ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-moving, evolving landscape.Regional experience in the Middle East, with a deep understanding of business and political sensitivities, is strongly preferred.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (Master’s preferred).8+ years of relevant experience in brand management, with at least 3 in a strategic leadership capacity.Arabic-speaking desired.
