Head of Arrangement – Real Estate Capital Markets | VC-Backed Startup | Riyadh, KSA
A high-potential capital markets firm is being established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on leveraging technology to unlock financing for the real estate sector. Backed by prominent regional VCs and led by an accomplished founding team and board, the firm is targeting a key hire to lead its Arranging function.
Role Overview:
The Head of Arrangement will be responsible for structuring and executing capital market products, primarily real estate sukuk and real estate funds, to finance SME developers in Saudi Arabia. The role involves originating, arranging, and executing debt instruments, with a hands-on approach to transaction management.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the issuance of sukuk and creation of real estate funds for SME real estate developers.Structure and execute debt arrangements, including both conventional and Sharia-compliant products.Navigate regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance with Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations.Manage end-to-end execution of transactions, including documentation, structuring, and investor engagement.Collaborate closely with the founding team and support strategic growth initiatives.Build and lead a small execution team (2–3 analysts) over time.
Ideal Candidate Profile:Minimum 5+ years of experience in capital markets, real estate finance, or debt structuring.Direct experience with sukuk issuance is highly preferred.Strong background in debt capital markets (DCM), with real estate as the primary asset class.Exposure to Saudi capital markets and CMA regulations is strongly preferred.Hands-on, execution-focused mindset; experience working in boutique or startup-like environments is advantageous.Knowledge of the local market is advantageous.
