With over 6,000 partners and operations extending to even the most remote areas of Qatar, Rafeeq is a powerful, customer-first platform built for convenience, trust, and innovation.As the platform expands into new service categories and markets, it is seeking ambitious, strategic leaders to help shape this future. Rafeeq is now launching a new vertical focused on Travel and Lifestyle, and we are hiring a Director to own and drive this end-to-end.This is an entrepreneurial, founder-style role offering the chance to build an entirely new business within the Rafeeq ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and lead the 3-year commercial strategy for the Travel & Lifestyle vertical.Build service offerings such as hotel bookings, car rentals, bundled experience packages, and travel insurance from scratch.Own business development strategy to onboard partners locally and regionally.Execute user acquisition, growth hacking, and promotional strategies to establish market traction fast.Leverage GCC-specific insights (e.g. Umrah travel, Dubai events, outbound seasonal spikes) to tailor offers and timing.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, tech, and product teams to build seamless end-to-end journeys.Report directly to the Co-Founder and CEO with exposure to the board and investors, including the CEO of QIC Group.Monitor vertical performance, iterate offers, and scale successful campaigns and services.Ideal Candidate ProfileProven track record launching or scaling digital consumer platforms or travel-related services.Background in ecommerce, on-demand marketplaces, or lifestyle services with deep understanding of customer lifecycle and service delivery.Skilled at forming commercial partnerships, negotiating deals, and building sustainable business lines.Strategic thinker with a growth mindset and ability to move at pace in a fast-evolving business.Strong analytical and market insight capability; able to translate regional trends into high-conversion propositions.Bonus if experienced in travel aggregators, booking platforms, or regional super apps.Comfort with ambiguity and a high degree of autonomy in a scale-up or early-stage launch environment.πŸ“ The role is based full-time in Doha.
