Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic ResponsibilitiesSupervise the implementation of the business plans and ensure that the work is carried out in line with the plans of other business units.Operational ResponsibilitiesGovernanceContribute to the development and implementation of work policies and procedures. OperationsDevelop the organisation’s own identity and brand to ensure compatibility with the overall strategy and ensure their application internally and externally.Develop internal and external marketing and PR plans, ensuring activation in accordance with the institutional identity.Organise and supervise media events, provide the media with news, activities and events, and manage developments and crises in line with organisational policies.Manage media sponsorships inside and outside the organisation and ensure the desired marketing benefits. Coordinate paid and unpaid advertisements.Manage official accounts on social media channels and prepare website content to ensure the application of approved standards.Develop a mechanism for monitoring and analysing publications about the organisation in coordination with relevant departments, and monitor publicity and press coverage.Supervise the preparation and implementation of research, studies, and projects related to measuring customer opinion and satisfaction.Write and edit press releases, leaflets, booklets, remarks, newsletters, internal journals, studies, and annual reports.Implement or supervise performance of tasks requested by the direct official and in the interest of work.Adhere to the organisation’s health and safety laws and standards.Perform any other duties mandated by the line manager.Project ManagementImplement initiatives and projects mandated in accordance with approved criteria and specified timelines and costs.SupervisionMonitor staff performance, provide necessary support and advice, and encourage continuous learning and development.Provide guidance and training to staff, and conduct knowledge sharing to facilitate the achievement of team objectives and the completion of tasks effectively.Train staff on handling media inquiries and press interviews.Identify and qualify the organisation’s keynote speakers to participate in events and enhance their presence in the media and related platforms.Risk ManagementManage potential risks in coordination with the relevant organisational unit and take decisions and corrective actions to improve performance.
