Purchasing Manager – Seafood Procurement
Riyadh based food and beverage production business are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager with a strong background in raw fish and seafood procurement. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing, with expertise in sea bream, barramundi, salmon, and shrimp. Proficiency in SAP and a deep understanding of the seafood industry are essential for this role.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the procurement process for raw fish and seafood products, ensuring quality and consistency.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure a reliable supply chain.Analyze market trends and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.Work closely with the Proteins Business Unit to align purchasing activities with business objectives.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.Utilize SAP for efficient procurement and inventory management.Qualifications & Experience8-10 years of experience in purchasing and sourcing raw fish/seafood.At least 5 years of leadership experience in procurement, managing diverse supply needs and leading a team of at least two.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with sea bream and barramundi.Proficiency in SAP and other procurement software.Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
