About Stephy Ann Mathews

Introduction:

Stephy is a result-oriented HR professional with hands on expertise in end-to-end IT recruitment (both in house and agency recruitment) with a proven track record of augmenting teams at all levels for Niche skills. She started her career as a Talent Acquisition Partner in IBM & is currently working as an Account Manager in Aventus specialising in information technology and digital transformation. She is focussed on managing client relationships, sourcing top talent, and facilitating the recruitment process.

Professional Expertise:

Being part of the Technology Team at Aventus, her expertise is in hiring technology professionals (Digital/Data/UI UX/Network/AI/Cyber Security/Forensics, BI, ERP) for both permanent as well as contract employment. She is handling full cycle recruitment for the GCC mainly UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Bahrain.

I was introduced to the subject Talent Acquisition while doing my Master’s in St.Joseph’s Institute of Management specialising in the HR domain , and I was immediately drawn to it. I love recruitment as it allows me to connect talented individuals with the right opportunities helping both candidates and companies thrive. It’s fulfilling to have a job that impacts people’s life for the better.

Aventus has such a vibrant and energetic environment where you get to learn and grow. I joined the company almost three years before when I was new to the GCC market. I started as an intern and was promoted as a full-time employee in a short span of 3months time, due to performance hence proving that the company rewards and recognises hard work.
