Introduction:

I was born and raised in London and spent most of my life there before deciding to move to the UAE. I studied Law at Royal Holloway, University of London and currently sit on Aventus’ Investment Management team.

Professional Expertise:

Following university, I started my career in London, focusing predominantly on the Real Assets and Credit sectors in both contingent and retained work. Across Real Assets, I worked across both real estate and infrastructure (equity & debt) as well as, credit (public & private) in distressed/special situations, direct lending and CLOs. 

Career Summary:

For the last three years, I've been working in the recruitment space specialising in investment management recruiting across investments, fundraising/business development and asset management.

I enjoy speaking to people, networking and building long-lasting valuable relationships with individuals in my industry. It also gives me a great sense of fulfilment and joy when I’m able to find someone their dream role.

The GCC region has become an increasingly attractive market for expatriates and foreign investors alike. In recent years, shifting macroeconomic trends in Europe/US, coupled with a growing need for diversified investment opportunities, have prompted many institutional investors from the U.S. and Europe to look toward the GCC as a key region for capital growth. In response, a growing number of U.S. and European firms have established offices and regional hubs across the GCC, aiming to both raise capital locally and facilitate cross-border investments.

This influx of international capital is further buoyed by the robust appetite for investment from local investors, who are benefiting from considerable wealth reserves and strategic positioning within the region. The GCC’s thriving economies, coupled with its stable regulatory frameworks and favourable business climates, provide an ideal environment for investors to explore a variety of sectors, from real estate and infrastructure to technology and energy.

My unique talent is I am ambidextrous and, can play several instruments including the Harmonium and, Afghan Rabab.
