Introduction

I’m Dubai-born and raised. I started out in finance but soon realized my real passion was people - connecting them with the right opportunities. That’s what led me into recruitment, and now I focus on financial services, investment banking, and banking across the GCC.

Career Summary

I joined Aventus as one of the very first team members and grew with the company. What started as a career shift has now turned into a journey, I’m proud of. Managing the Financial Services desk and placing senior leaders, auditors, and bankers across the region.

One of my best years was when I made 20 placements in 12 months, from building entire Investment teams to helping clients fill really tricky executive roles.

Why Recruitment?

For me, it’s simple. I enjoy working with people. Recruitment gives me the chance to change someone’s career and help businesses grow at the same time. Every successful match feels like a win for everyone involved. (PS: I love cricket)

Industry Insights

The market is shifting fast. Investment banking professionals, especially in M&A, debt and equity capital markets, and structured finance are in high demand. Asset and wealth management talent is also a key focus, as firms look to expand their portfolios and offerings across the region.

Approach to Recruitment

I don’t believe in just filling roles. My approach is to be real with both clients and candidates, honest, transparent, and focused on the long term. Trust matters more than quick wins.

Success Stories

• One of my proudest moments was winning Resourcer / Research Consultant of the Year in 2023.
• Became the fastest person in Aventus history to qualify for the Lunch Club, the recognition for top performers of the quarter, reaching the milestone in just 18 days.
• Closing 20 successful deals in a single year will always stand out as a highlight of my journey so far, and of course many more to come.

Fun Facts

• I’m known for spotting talent where others don’t, maybe that’s my superpower.
• I was one of the first at Aventus to switch from finance into recruitment, and I haven’t looked back.
• Coffee fuels most of my mornings, and I sometimes joke that my real job is coffee-powered networking.
• And lastly, I am also competitive (in a fun way!), whether it’s hitting a record placement, a fitness goal, or winning a friendly game night.
