About Miles Henslow

Introduction: 

My career in headhunting/recruitment spans 10 years, the past 7 years specialising in the placement of Senior Private Bankers in the UHNW Private Banking and Wealth Management space, as well as assisting Multi-Family Offices in their broader senior recruitment needs.  

Career Summary:

Having started my career in recruitment straight after university in London for 2.5 years, at 23 I decided to take an exciting entrepreneurial journey and setup my own headhunting business, this is where I began my focus on the Private Banking industry. From a pure standing start (no contacts and just a phone plus a laptop), I built my business successfully over a 4-year period catering to multiple International Banks and Privately Owned Multi Family Offices. I returned to a boutique business in London for a further 2.5 years and in June 2025 I decided to fulfil my lifelong ambition to work and live abroad with Aventus. 

Why Recruitment?

For me, it offered me the chance to work closely with senior executives in the UHNW private banking industry, an industry I find fascinating. I equally enjoy the fulfilment with having a positive impact on people's careers and lives. 

Industry Insights:  

In a market such as private banking where knowing the industry and how the market moves, being on top of market trends is crucial. The industry itself is always evolving driven by client expectations, technology, regulations, global economy and competition between traditional players and independent firms.

What is your approach to recruitment/executive search?

My approach is simple, I like to treat my clients/candidates as they would treat their own UHNW clients. The core focus being relationship management, trust and integrity. 

Why Aventus?

I chose to join Aventus when relocating to Dubai because the team genuinely stood out to me and therefore the support, plus the opportunity to learn and grow.   

Fun Fact: 

Outside the office, I need to be playing/watching sports - you'll find me on the golf course, cricket pitch, padel court, tennis court, watching Arsenal or the F1.
