About Kim Bekker

I am a Legal Researcher specialising in the Middle East, working at the intersection of law, policy, and executive search. I bring experience across legal research and end-to-end recruitment delivery, having successfully placed talent ranging from General Counsel level through to paralegal roles, as well as positions beyond the legal function. My work spans multiple regions, including the GCC, MEA, Europe, the UK, and the USA, giving me a well-rounded understanding of global talent markets and regional nuance. 

I have partnered with organisations across a diverse range of sectors, including oil and gas, private legal practice, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, healthcare, financial services, and renewable energy. Prior to specialising in legal research and executive search, I built a strong foundation in operations, procurement, and leadership. This experience enhanced my organisational capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and ability to perform under pressure in high-accountability settings.

I hold a BA in Sport Psychology from the University of Johannesburg and a Postgraduate qualification in Education from Varsity College. This academic background has equipped me with a strong understanding of human behaviour, communication, learning, and development, bringing a thoughtful and people-centred perspective to my work.

Originally from South Africa, I am highly active and competitive outside of my professional life. I have represented South Africa at multiple Indoor Cricket World Cups and continue to compete. I am passionate about sport more broadly, with a particular interest in cricket, golf, and outdoor pursuits.
