Introduction:

After growing up in the north of England, I’ve developed a passion for travelling and experiencing the wonderful cultures of the world. Having come to the Middle East in 2018, it has provided me with opportunities to see new parts of the world and broaden my horizons.

I’m very active and love sports. Golf is a passion and find it an excellent opportunity for networking. I play field hockey for Dubai Hockey Club, regular Padel Tennis and I often go camping in the UAE, spending time in the desert and the mountains.

My entire recruitment career has been focused on the legal sector. It began in the UK, supporting high street firms and local governments. A life changing move to the UAE has exposed me to more complex clients and markets. Over the years I have progressed to being a trusted advisor to the world’s top law firms and the most recognised brands you can think of.

My recent focus is quite specific to In-House legal. I enjoy the variety, partnering with businesses in a wide range of industries keeps it very interesting. One day I am recruiting for a powerhouse brand such as Amazon, the next, a local farming company.

My success has come at all levels, ranging from General Counsel to Paralegal. I enjoy the challenge of a complex, senior search, but also the rewarding feeling helping someone at the start of their career. I’ve made placements all over the Middle East and thanks to the people I’ve met, the travelling I’ve done, I consider myself to be very adaptable.

Recruitment is a very interesting career path. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and it’s amazing how much you learn just listening. I’m not looking for a quick win, in business you have to take time to build relationships and I strongly agree with that. If I am supporting you with a search, I always suggest meeting face-to-face. It’s important to build the trust and understanding for when the tricky conversations arise, but more importantly, the celebrations.

Working in the legal sector has forced me to pay close attention to the details. Nobody is more diligent than a Lawyer. You should be reassured that working with me will be an efficient process. I always go the extra mile to obtain all the details as I know your time is valuable.
