1. Introduction

I was born in Manila and grew up in Antipolo, east of Metro Manila. I studied at the Philippine School of Business Administration, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management. I've spent the last 10 years building my career in recruitment, working with different people and businesses along the way. Over the years, I've come to enjoy the challenges that come with recruitment and the opportunity to connect people with the right opportunities.

2. Career Summary

I have over 10 years of experience in recruitment, working with clients across the US, Australia, and New Zealand. I've worked in both recruitment agencies and directly with businesses, handling different types of roles across various industries. My experience covers the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and approaching candidates to screening, interviewing, managing client relationships, and helping businesses find the right people for their teams.

Joining Aventus is a new chapter in my career. It's my first time working with a GCC-based company, and I'm looking forward to bringing my previous experience into a new market while learning more about the region.

3. Professional Expertise

My background is in end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition, with experience handling corporate, technical, specialist, and operational roles across different industries. I've worked with both local and international talent markets, and I'm comfortable adapting my search strategies depending on the role, industry, and client requirements.

I particularly enjoy working on challenging searches, understanding what a business needs, and finding candidates who are not only qualified but also a good fit for the team.

4. Industry Insights

Having worked with clients in different markets, I've learned that recruitment is never a one-size-fits-all process. Each market has its own challenges, talent availability, and expectations. One thing that remains important wherever you recruit is understanding what the client really needs and knowing where to find the right people.

As I begin working in the GCC market, I'm also looking forward to gaining a better understanding of the region, its talent landscape, and the different hiring needs of businesses here.

5. Why Recruitment?

I enjoy recruitment because I get to meet and work with people from different backgrounds and industries. Every role is different, and there's always something new to learn. I also find it fulfilling when I can help someone find an opportunity that's right for them while helping a business find the person they've been looking for. It's rewarding to know that what I do can make a difference in someone's career.

6. Approach to Recruitment

I like to keep things straightforward. I take time to understand what the client needs and what they're really looking for, beyond what's written in the job description. I also believe in being honest and keeping communication open with candidates. Recruitment involves a lot of follow-ups, conversations, and sometimes challenges, but I believe that treating people well and setting the right expectations makes the process better for everyone.

7. Why Aventus?

I saw Aventus as an opportunity to work with a global team and be part of a new recruitment environment. Having spent most of my career supporting clients in the US, Australia, and New Zealand, joining a GCC-based company is an exciting new experience for me. I'm looking forward to learning more about the region, working with a new team, sharing what I've learned over the years, and taking on new challenges along the way.

8. Fun Fact

Travelling is something I absolutely love. I always say that every year, you should visit at least one place you've never been to before. I enjoy discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and making memories along the way. When I'm not travelling, I love cooking with my family. For me, sharing a home-cooked meal with the people I love is one of the best ways to spend time together.
