Embarking on my career after obtaining a Material Engineering Degree from the University of Birmingham, UK, I initially pursued a master’s degree. However, a pivotal moment occurred during my work with Jaguar on a galvanic corrosion program, leading me to the realization that engineering wasn't my sole passion.

Soon after this revelation, I transitioned into the field of recruitment, marking the commencement of a career that spans nearly two decades in technology recruitment.

Reflecting on this journey fills me with gratitude, as I've found fulfilment in exploring and contributing to the dynamic intersection of technology and talent.

Drawing upon two decades of dedicated recruitment experience, I launched my career in Technology Recruitment within the UK market. Over the past 15 years, my professional focus has extended to the Middle East, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic recruitment landscape in this region.

Throughout my journey, I have navigated and excelled in diverse areas of recruitment, leaving virtually no facet untouched. This wealth of experience has honed my expertise and insight into the multifaceted challenges and opportunities within the realm of talent acquisition.

My journey in recruitment commenced in the UK in 2004, where I specialized in technology recruitment within the dynamic landscape of London. This early phase of my career laid the foundation for my expertise in identifying and placing top-tier tech talent in a competitive market.

Eager to broaden my horizons, I embarked on a pivotal transition to the UAE. Joining an international firm, I played a key role in establishing and leading the technology practice. This experience not only exposed me to the intricacies of the global recruitment landscape but also provided valuable insights into the unique dynamics of the technology sector in the Middle East.

Fuelled by the desire to create a distinctive impact, I took the entrepreneurial leap and founded Aventus. This endeavour represents the culmination of my extensive industry knowledge, strategic acumen, and a passion for connecting exceptional talent with organizations that drive innovation. I am a volunteer coach for a grassroots youth football team, and I thoroughly enjoy the experience. In addition to my coaching role, I have a passion for Jujitsu, which I have been dedicated to for the past five years.
