We are hiring a Metadata & Data Catalog Consultant for a leading client to support an enterprise data governance programme.
What you’ll do• Implement and configure Informatica data catalog and governance tools (EDC, Axon, CDGC)• Scan and onboard metadata from databases, data warehouses, data lakes, BI and cloud sources• Build end-to-end data lineage and impact analysis• Set up business glossaries, data domains, ownership and stewardship workflows• Troubleshoot scanner, lineage and permission issues• Run workshops and training, and drive user adoption• Prepare design documents, standards and user guides
What you bring• 4–7 years of experience in data governance, metadata management or data catalog work• Hands-on experience with Informatica EDC and Axon, plus CDGC/IDMC exposure (a strong plus)• Basic to intermediate Informatica Administration (users, roles, permissions)• Strong understanding of metadata, data lineage and data governance concepts• Good SQL skills• Strong communication and stakeholder management
Nice to have• Informatica certifications (Data Governance, Catalog, IDMC, Data Quality)• Informatica Data Quality, PowerCenter or IICS• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks)• Frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, and regulations such as GDPR or PDPL• Consulting background
