Anti Fraud & Compliance Systems, IT Manager

About the Client

Our client is a leading banking group seeking an Anti Fraud & Compliance Systems, IT Manager to oversee the technology platforms supporting financial crime compliance, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and fraud prevention across its KSA operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technology strategy, roadmap and governance for financial crime and anti-fraud systems, ensuring alignment with SAMA requirements and wider business objectives.
  • Oversee key platforms covering sanctions and name screening, AML transaction monitoring, investigations and fraud detection, ensuring ongoing effectiveness, availability and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations and enhancements, working closely with Technology, Compliance, Fraud, business stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Manage and optimise anti-fraud technology, including SAS Fraud Management and Group-IB, alongside Firco and wider AML / Financial Crime Risk Management solutions.
  • Provide management information and reporting on system performance, alert volumes, tuning activity and regulatory metrics, while supporting audits, inspections and independent reviews.
  • Act as a senior technology partner to Compliance and Fraud functions, managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of regulatory and technology requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years' banking technology experience, with significant exposure to AML, sanctions, transaction monitoring, fraud and financial crime systems.
  • Strong experience with platforms such as Firco, SAS Fraud Management (SAS FMS) and enterprise fraud management solutions; Group-IB experience advantageous.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end implementation, upgrades and application management across compliance and anti-fraud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of banking, financial crime technology and regulatory requirements, with SAMA / Saudi banking experience highly advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills, with the ability to provide strategic direction across technology roadmaps and work effectively with senior Compliance, Fraud and Technology stakeholders.
