Data Governance Lead
Location: Riyadh, KSA (on-site) | Saudi nationals only | Experience: 8+ years in data governance / data management | 6-month Contract Renewable
About the role
You'll lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives — designing policies across DAMA data management domains, driving NDMO/NDI compliance in coordination with SDAIA, and embedding a strong data culture across the organization.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or compliance roles, ideally within Saudi government or public sector entities
- Proven track record with NDMO and/or NDI compliance frameworks
- Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK data management domains
- Experience developing data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks
- Background in change management and stakeholder engagement across large organizations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's is a plus)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, NDMO-related certifications) are a strong advantage
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Immediate joiner ONLY!!!
Nice to have
- Exposure to data analytics/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP)
- Experience with data classification, protection, and quality frameworks
- Familiarity with ISO data/information management standards
