Banking & Restructuring Associate / Senior Associate Solicitor to join the Dubai office of an international law firm.
This role offers the chance to work closely with a well-regarded partners on a broad mix of transactional banking, finance and restructuring matters across the UAE and wider region.
The practice advises financial institutions, corporates and government-related entities on a range of banking matters, including corporate lending, real estate finance and acquisition finance, on both a conventional and Sharia-compliant basis. It also has a strong restructuring and insolvency offering, acting across distressed debt situations, consensual restructurings and formal insolvency processes.
The team acts for a strong regional client base, including leading UAE banks, advising both lenders and borrowers, as well as on selected private credit matters.
This opportunity would suit a banking / finance lawyer English / Common Law qualified solicitor with solid Legal 500 law firm experience in the Middle East or UK etc, transactional experience and some exposure to restructuring or distressed situations, who is looking to take on a broader role within a growing Dubai practice.
