Head of Prime Brokerage (Electronic Trading)
We are partnering with a leading Saudi investment platform to appoint a Head of International Prime Brokerage, a high-impact, build-and-scale mandate focused on expanding their global trading offering.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and platform development, with a primary focus on US equities, alongside broader exposure to global markets (Hong Kong, GCC, etc.).The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and scaling the international brokerage function, driving market share growth, enhancing client experience, and positioning the platform competitively against regional and global peers.
What we are looking forDeep international brokerage experience within established brokerage firms, with a strong focus on servicing retail and sophisticated individual investorsStrong experience in building, scaling, or optimising digital trading platforms, with a deep understanding of how technology drives client engagement and execution qualityProven track record in US equities trading and market structure, with strong awareness of global markets and products (including prime brokerage, IPOs, and multi-asset execution)Strong understanding of brokerage technology, trading platforms, and vendor ecosystems (e.g. market data providers, execution systems, pricing tools)Ability to analyze competitors, identify gaps, and introduce new services and capabilities to stay ahead of the curve
Mandate & ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead the international brokerage strategy, with a focus on scaling US equities flowEnhance execution capabilities, ensuring best-in-class speed, pricing, and platform efficiencyDevelop and optimize client journeys via digital channels, leveraging technology and vendor solutionsIntroduce new products, vendors, and capabilities to strengthen the platform’s competitive positioningBuild and lead a team from the ground up, aligned to the long-term growth strategy
Profile15–20+ years’ experience within international brokerage platformsStrong mix of commercial mindset + execution expertise + strategic leadershipBackground in regional or international brokerage houses across GCC or global marketsAbility to operate in a build-out environment, with ownership and autonomy
