PurposeSupport the establishment and activation of an institutional innovation function within a large organisation, aligning with national-level digital governance and performance frameworks. Scope includes operating model design, governance, idea lifecycle management, emerging technology enablement, and compliance evidence support.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement innovation operating models, including governance structures, policies, and proceduresDrive innovation activation through campaigns, workshops, hackathons, and structured ideation channelsTranslate emerging technology opportunities into practical use cases, pilots, and scalable solutionsDefine and track innovation KPIs, value realisation, and organisational impactSupport compliance alignment by mapping requirements, preparing documentation, and ensuring audit readinessIdentify gaps and support remediation planning against defined frameworks
Requirements2+ years of experience in innovation, digital transformation, or organisational capability developmentExposure to national or enterprise-level digital governance, maturity, or compliance frameworksExperience supporting audits, assessments, or structured evaluation processesStrong understanding of innovation frameworks, operating models, and governance designHands-on experience facilitating workshops, ideation sessions, or innovation programmesWorking knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and data platformsStrong documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills
EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Public Administration, or similarAdvanced degrees or certifications (e.g. project management, design thinking, agile) are advantageous
