Role Summary
The Strategy Realization Office (SRO) Manager is responsible for translating organizational strategy into measurable business outcomes. This role oversees the execution of the strategic portfolio, ensuring initiatives are aligned with overarching objectives while delivering tangible value.The SRO Manager drives portfolio governance, program oversight, initiative prioritization, benefits realization, and performance tracking, acting as the central coordination point for strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Portfolio ManagementOversee the enterprise-wide portfolio of strategic initiativesMaintain a centralized and accurate view of the initiative pipeline and portfolioTrack portfolio performance and deliver executive-level reportingStrategic Alignment & PrioritizationEnsure all initiatives align with strategic objectives and business prioritiesLead prioritization efforts based on impact, complexity, and cost-benefit considerationsProgram Delivery GovernanceOversee execution of cross-functional strategic programsMonitor program progress, risks, and key dependenciesEscalate risks and propose corrective actions where necessaryValue Realization & KPI ManagementDevelop and track benefits realization frameworksMeasure and report on key performance indicators and value deliveredGovernance, Process Optimization & AutomationDesign and implement governance frameworks for strategy executionStandardize processes within the Strategy Realization OfficeIdentify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automationStakeholder EngagementFacilitate strategy workshops and cross-functional alignment sessionsEngage senior stakeholders to enable informed and timely decision-making
Minimum Qualifications
EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Technology, or a related fieldPreferred: Master’s degree or MBA in Strategy, Management, Operations, or related disciplineExperience8–12+ years of experience in strategy execution, transformation, portfolio management, or enterprise PMO environmentsProven experience managing large-scale strategic programs and cross-functional initiativesStrong expertise in performance management, governance frameworks, and value realization
