Job Title: Assistant Manager, Compliance Quality Assurance (12 Month Contract)
Role Summary:An established UAE-based bank is seeking an Assistant Manager – Compliance Quality Assurance to execute compliance assurance reviews, monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, and provide insights and recommendations to enhance control frameworks across the organisation.
Core Responsibilities:• Conduct compliance assurance reviews across key business areas, including onboarding, trade finance, and Financial Crime Compliance (AML, Sanctions, KYC), focusing on high-risk accounts and processes. • Identify control gaps, breaches, and areas for improvement; prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for senior management. • Develop and maintain dashboards and management reporting to track compliance performance and trends for senior stakeholders. • Collaborate with business units and operations to remediate recurring issues and strengthen compliance frameworks. • Support regulatory and audit engagements by providing documentation, insights, and clarifications. • Contribute to compliance training and awareness initiatives while ensuring alignment with internal policies, Code of Conduct, and ethical standards.
Candidate Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related discipline; CAMS or equivalent certification preferred. • 7–10 years’ experience in compliance, audit, or risk management, with strong exposure to Financial Crime Compliance. • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate independently.
