This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building and scaling the bank’s mid-cap franchise, complementing its already well-established large-cap platform.This opportunity offers a unique mandate to originate, develop and execute mid-market transactions across a broad product suite, including M&A, ECM, and DCM, while playing a key role in shaping the firm’s long-term growth strategy in the Kingdom.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and scale the mid-cap coverage platform in Saudi ArabiaDefine strategy, sector focus, and client segmentationWork closely with senior leadership to align with regional and global prioritiesOriginate and lead mid-market transactions across M&A, Equity Capital Markets, and Debt Capital MarketsDrive deal execution end-to-end, maintaining best-in-class advisory standardsIdentify cross-sell opportunities across the bank’s broader product offeringDevelop and maintain relationships with mid-cap corporates, family groups, and government-related entitiesAct as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholdersLeverage existing large-cap relationships to unlock mid-market opportunitiesHire, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of bankersFoster a strong execution culture and collaborative environmentWork alongside sector/product teams to deliver integrated solutionsPosition the bank as a leading mid-market advisor in Saudi ArabiaProvide market intelligence and contribute to thought leadership initiativesSupport expansion into adjacent sectors and regional opportunities
Candidate ProfileExperience:10–15+ years of experience in Investment BankingStrong track record across M&A, ECM, and/or DCM transactionsProven origination capability within the Saudi/GCC mid-market segmentDemonstrated experience building or scaling teams/platformsStrong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersDeep understanding of capital markets and advisory productsStrong execution capability combined with commercial acumen
NetworkEstablished relationships with mid-cap corporates, family offices, and institutional clients in Saudi ArabiaOtherArabic language skills are highly preferred
