Job Title: Vice President – Head of Advisory & Research
Location: Saudi Arabia / Open to Overseas Candidates
Role Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced investment professional to lead our Advisory & Research function. The VP will oversee macro and micro research on equity markets, develop model portfolios, and provide strategic investment advisory to high-net-worth (HNW) and institutional clients. The role also involves conducting due diligence on third-party managers, publishing research insights, and representing the bank in media and public forums.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Advisory & Portfolio Management:Develop and maintain advisory portfolio constructions tailored to HNW and institutional clients.Provide expert advice on asset allocation, securities selection, and investment strategies.Assist the asset management function by evaluating investment managers and strategies.
Research & Analysis:Lead macroeconomic and micro-level equity market research.Publish regular investment insights, reports, and market outlooks for clients and internal stakeholders.Ensure research supports client advisory, portfolio construction, and investment decision-making.
Client Engagement & Advisory:Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting investment opportunities and providing market guidance.Partner with private wealth teams to deliver tailored investment solutions.Offer insights on manager performance and recommend adjustments when required.
Thought Leadership & Representation:Represent the bank in media engagements, investor briefings, and industry forums.Present research findings and market views to clients, management, and external stakeholders.
Due Diligence & Governance:Oversee investment due diligence for third-party products and strategies.Ensure all advisory and research functions meet regulatory, compliance, and fiduciary standards.
Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 10+ years’ experience in investment advisory, equity research, or portfolio management.Strong background in macroeconomic and micro market analysis.Demonstrated experience advising HNW or institutional clients.Experience with media representation and thought leadership preferred.Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA preferred.International experience with exposure to MENA markets highly desirable.
