I am working with a leading UAE bank to hire a Head of Service – Corporate Finance Technology, a senior leadership role responsible for technology strategy, delivery, and transformation across corporate lending, ECM, and DCM platforms. This role will drive modernization, automation, and innovation to ensure the bank remains at the forefront of digital transformation in wholesale and corporate banking.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the technology strategy for corporate lending and capital markets platforms.Lead end-to-end delivery across origination, servicing, and syndication for bilateral and syndicated lending.Own platform and product management, with strong oversight on stability, vendor management, and enhancement roadmaps.Modernize existing platforms, introducing automation, AI/ML, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.Manage a team of 20–30 specialists, building high-performing delivery and support capabilities.Partner closely with business leaders, risk, compliance, and external vendors to drive transformation.Ensure platforms align with regulatory requirements and market infrastructure standards.
Key Requirements
12+ years’ experience in banking technology, with focus on corporate lending & capital markets.Hands-on expertise with LoanIQ (or similar commercial lending platforms) in production environments.Strong track record in bi-lateral and syndicated lending technology delivery.Knowledge of structured finance, credit decisioning, and risk analytics.Expertise in cloud services (AWS/Azure), DevOps, APIs, and data engineering.Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.Proven ability to deliver platform modernization and new technology implementations.
