Technology Governance Manager
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Governance Manager to join their team in Riyadh. As a Technology Governance Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the development and execution of company's technology enablement strategies, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and quality standards, and optimizing the utilization of resources within the Technology Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Technology Enablement Department's short to mid-term strategic plan, aligning it with the Technology Services Department's priorities and corporate goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business intelligence and data management quality standards, as well as maintenance action plans.
- Direct and manage data demand and quality control mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes to achieve high performance standards.
- Interpret and implement changes in data demand and quality control, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain robust governance policies, processes, and controls, ensuring their appropriateness and adherence.
- Lead the definition of policies, processes, strategies, standards, and guidelines using best practice frameworks, while reviewing current approaches and suggesting improvements.
- Develop, maintain, and present Enterprise Architecture and IT strategy roadmaps.
- Design master data management processes, governance, policies, standards, and tools for effective management of master data.
- Identify and highlight issues related to data quality, leading to improved accuracy of reports and informed decision-making.
- Contribute to defining an optimum structure for the Technology sector, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal resource utilization.
- Implement performance management processes, setting annual objectives, and developing staff through mentoring, coaching, and constructive feedback.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required. Additional Languages will be desirable
- Proven experience in technology governance, data management, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of regulations, policies, and best practices related to technology governance.
- Proficiency in business intelligence, data management, and strategic technology infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles.
- Experience in defining policies, processes, strategies, and standards.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture and IT strategy.
