Investment Director
Job Summary:
The Investment Director will be responsible for overseeing the investment activities of the organization (Buyside). The successful candidate will lead a team of investment professionals and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of investments across various asset classes/subsidiaries. The Investment Director will report to the CIO and will be a key member of the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the investment strategy for the organization.
- Lead a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the team is meeting performance targets.
- Manage a portfolio of investments across various asset classes, including but not limited to private equity, real estate, and infrastructure.
- Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities and make recommendations to the investment committee.
- Build and maintain relationships with investment partners and stakeholders.
Background:
- 10+ years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or Sovereign Wealth Fund background.
- Experience managing a team of investment professionals.
- Our client would have a preference on candidates with European experiences due to some of the mandates on which they have in that region.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- CFA Qualification is preferred
